Low Calorie Salisbury Steak

1 lb of lean high quality ground beef
1 yellow onion 
1 clove garlic minced
1 package of sliced white mushrooms
1 tbsp steak seasoning
1 tbsp of flour 
1 cup of beef broth
spray olive oil
chives (optional)

Serves 4
approx calories 240


Sautée 3/4 of the onion it long strips in spray oil for 1 minute. Add mushrooms and garlic and sautée 4 more minutes.
Remove veggies from pan and set aside.


In a bowl combine beef, seasoning, and 1/4 onion diced. 


Make 4 hamburger patties. Spary the same pan with more olive oil cook patties over medium/high heat 2 minutes on each side. They will not be fully cooked, but that's okay. Remove them from the pan and set aside.

Add veggies back to the pan still over medium high heat add a pinch of flour and cost them then add the beef broth. Let simmer for a minute or so then add the patties to the gravy. Let everything simmer four more minutes. 

Top with chives if you desire.
