1/2 of a lemon, pepper, tbsp minced garlic, a couple sprigs of fresh thyme.
To crisp it up 425 for 10 min. Eating steamed veggies gets old fast. I'm all about trying to make your veggies fun and new. This one is actually stolen from my Grammy ❤️
Sautée mushrooms and onions in a little spary oil with minced garlic. I added in a little garlic flavored Mrs. Dash at the end. Keep it clean ;-)
This is NOT my chicken for dinner. BUT as a tip this is my Husbands chicken for his lunch with Mrs. Dash fiesta like flavor. Make ahead and save yourself a ton of time. The key to clean eating and succeeding on a challenge is planning ahead. Gettin stuck in an unprepared situation is how we end up in a drive thru line.
Our dinner chicken had Trader Joes 21 seasoning blend on it, and of course it's salt free.
For my sauce I deglazed my chicken pan with 1/4 of the lemon, 2 tbs of water, 1 tbs of Dijon mustard, fresh thyme, and fresh parsley. Um YES a mustard sauce while on challenge. #yourewelcome
