It's day 23! What's exciting is I don't want it to end and I don't think it will. The way I feel, the changes in my body it's all so amazing. Never did I believe 23 days could make such a difference. So here's a little Friday motivation. That's more then 5" around my belly. That's triple baby belly bloat gone! Leaving me with the rattlesnake skin of death, but we won't go there. Beggers can't be choosers right? I got three babies out of the deal and had no intention of ever wearing a bikini, so it's all good! Happy Friday, happy pre-birthday, happy day 23!🎉 #24daychallenge
Lunch time! Day 18. Cucumber with 3 oz. of smoked salmon. For the sauce I used 2 tbs of Greek yogurt a squeeze of lemon and dry dill. I topped it with fresh chives and red onion. Happiness is feeling like you went out for appetizers in your own backyard.
What's in Spawn Makers lunch box? Oh just a meal replacement shake, Greek yogurt with strawberries, a brown rice / quinoa combo, a chicken salad with yogurt ranch, mini meat loaf, and cauliflower mashed potatoes! YES all of that! 😍 Mini measured out meatloaf is a new staple in our house along with cauli mash which I added a little yogurt to in this batch. 😍 You don't have to be hungry on challenge, just eat smart and PLAN ahead!
Yes I really have logged into my fitness pal 500 days in a row! 👏🎉 So .4 is my loss for the week. 🙈 I'm trying not to focus on it or let the scale rule me, but it does sometimes 😔 I am trying to focus on my non-scale victories #NSV like the fact that my body feels better, I think I may be toner, my mood is better, my energy is up, and all in all I know I am fueling my body properly. Have I mentioned I love avocado? Um well I do and for snack I got a full serving it. By far this is the best find yet and check out the ingredients! No preservatives and all nice clean ingredients. Not to mention less expensive then 5 #avocados and pretty convenient to scoop out and weigh my 3 ounces. And yes yes this too came from Trader Joes, where else?
I have a confession. Yesterday (Mother's Day) was a little hard. Not that I was craving the actual food, but more craving having the celebration with food.
I wanted Brunch, to cheers, mimosas, ice cream, breakfast in bed, to go to a restaurant, deli sandwiches at the park you name it I really wanted it yesterday.
I associated yesterday with being spoiled by food. And guess what? I stayed on track and maybe went to bed a little unsatisfied, but I survived.
I didn't need bad food to celebrate. I had an omelet, a beautiful shrimp salad, and a bunless BBQ burger and it was just fine. I don't need food to celebrate anymore!
