Lunch Time
This plate has me written all over it. I am big fan of different flavors on one plate. Maybe that's why I'm such a fan of Mexican food. This is an average lunch in my house. I make my kids plates similar to this too. They had cheddar cheese and I actually did end up throwing that on my plate after this picture was taken. Happy Tuesday! I nailed it at the gym today. No excuses!

Back!
So you have probably noticed I am back! I was never fully gone, but I haven't been posting as much.
I am back at it trying to keep myself accountable and find some new food combos.
For now I am putting lots of focus on my workwouts. The plan is 5 - 6 days a week. Will it be easy? Pfffttt hell no! But did I do SIX days last week? Let me get a hell yeah! Adding in some more strength training this year because as we all know muscle burns fat quicker.
I would also "like" to say I will eat a little cleaner, but only time will tell and well yes, I love food (bows head in shame.) Plus oh yes I LOVE FOOD!
My boys are doing amazing and still love to help with workouts and walk with me or ride their bikes. They obviously can't all go in a stroller anymore. So usually it's my youngest in a stroller and my twins on bikes now a days. Oh how I wish I could load them all in a stroller strapped in with an ipad. And yes I just said that... come on now! I knew where they were, they couldn't get out and they were entertained.
Is my Husband back at it too? Yup! And as per his request I am pretty sure we will be doing "splurge Sundays" for the most part.
So stay turned for some funnies, my accountability shots, and FOOD! Because uh... I love food!

Banana Muffins
No eggs, no dairy, and the kiddos love them.
3 banana
1/2 c brown sugar
3 cups flour
1 cup ff almond milk
200 grams of applesauce (I used the kiddo apple sauce on the go things, yes true story they had cinnamon in them)
2 teaspoons baking powder
2 teaspoons vanilla extract
1/2 cup of oats
Bake at 350 for 15 min. I would spray the muffin tin or papers because mine stuck to the paper a little.
They are dense and filling for a nice hearty breakfast.
Makes 24 for 125 calories

Sweet Potato Chips
These babies were made in the microwave. I cut them up sprayed them with olive oil spray and used some garlic salt and pepper. Placed them on parchment paper and microwaved them for about 5 min.

A Little Accountability Shot
My Gym Partner
In-n-out who cares?
Sometimes life calls for a protein style in-n-out burger and not one ounce of me feels guilty about it 😜😛😘
If you are payin attention in this picture you will see my engagement ring on my middle finger. YES that's because I am waaayyy smaller then my wedding day in 2004. Can I get a whoop whoop?!?!?!?

365 Days
The best decision I ever made was last January when I installed the my fitness pal app on my phone. I decided to put my health first for my boys. I am working on being a better me for them. Always! No looking back.

Monkey Weight
Still too sick to take my little one to the gym. Jillian's yoga meltdown with a little extra monkey weight on my back.
He thought it was game to climb on me during all the planks.

Turkey Wraps
For me, steering away from the carbs helps me shed the lbs.
This is my go to lunch or snack. Packed full of flavor and protein.
Bye bye holiday weight.

A Workout at Home
My youngest wasn't feeling well today, but I had my mind set on working out and eating right and getting back on track from the 6 pounds I gained over the last couple months.
I put a Jillian Michael's workout on and the iPad and blasted some work out music. That girl almost killed me.
The workout was a success as the twins watched TV and my youngest layer on the floor near me.
Cheers to getting back on track!
